I was born and raised in Loveland, Colorado, and went on to earn my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Justice Studies from Arizona State University. After graduation, I worked in social services supporting teens for two years before pursuing my Master of Arts in Community Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Northern Colorado.
My early career focused on helping children and teens in Colorado, where I also completed extensive training in Play Therapy through a series of intensive workshops. In 2007, I moved to Washington State, became a licensed Mental Health Counselor, and continued working with youth and families. During this time, I deepened my expertise in Play Therapy and developed an interest in Sand Tray Therapy.
In 2008, I established my private practice, transitioning to full-time practice the following year. Over the years, I’ve served clients in the Edmonds, Lynnwood, Kirkland, and Woodinville areas. My work has centered on providing Play Therapy as well as parent guidance and support.
In 2023, my family and I relocated back to Colorado. I continue to support my Washington clients through Telehealth and monthly in-person sessions, while also becoming licensed in Colorado in May 2025. Today, I offer both in-person and virtual therapy to children, teens, and families from my office in Fort Collins, located on Prospect Road.
